WHEREAS, Roberta Hoffman has been involved in the Insurance Industry for 47 years, and

WHEREAS, Roberta Hoffman assumed the responsibilities of a family owned agency, Mrs. D.L . Beaver Insurance Agency, in 1963, and

WHEREAS, Roberta Hoffman has served the insurance industry by serving on the Board of Directors for the local Association – Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Northwestern Arizona, President of the State Association – Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Arizona, and the National Association – Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America as State National Director, and

WhEREAS, Roberta Hoffman has given of her time and talent serving on the following Committees of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Arizona : Legislative Committee, Nominating Committee, Executive Committee, Political Action Committee, Budget Committee, Small and Rural Agents Task Force, Endorsements Committee , and

WHEREAS, Roberta Hoffman has given all of her time and talent serving as a member of the following Committees of the Independent Insurance Agents of America : Professional Liability Committee, Agency Administrative Services, and

WHEREAS, Roberta Hoffman has assisted her community by serving on the Parker, Arizona Town Council as Member, Vice Mayor, Mayor, Member of numerous task forces and committees for the Town, and has demonstrated her dedication to her community by serving on various, Boards, Advisory Committees, and many other groups to benefit and further the citizenry of La Paz County, the Colorado River Indian Tribes, and

WHEREAS, Roberta has dedicated time and resources to further the business community in her area by serving as a Member of the following: Parker Area Chamber of Commerce and President of the Chamberettes, Economic Development Committee, Western Arizona Council of Governments, Board of Directors of the Arizona Town Hall, Board of Directors of the La Paz Regional Hospital, Arizona Association for Industrial Development, Western Arizona Emergency Management Systems, La Paz County Victim/Witness Board, Rotary International, life member of the Soroptimist International, and

WHEREAS, Roberta is a lifetime Member of the Parker Area Historical Society, has actively participated in the Order of Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Matron and Past District Instructor, and is a dedicated member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution,

NOW THeREFORE, be it resolved on this 30th Day of September, 2010, that this Association recognize her dedication, faith and resolve to benefit the industry and community in general by electing Roberta Hoffman into the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona Hall of Fame, the highest honor this Association is empowered to give.
